An impressionistic piano piece featuring sweeping arpeggios, distant modulations, and romantic expressive markings to create a dreamy ambience perfectly suited to the whimsy of nighttime. Grade 6 level.

This piece is a technical exercise concealed in a tone poem. Based on scalic passages and arpeggios which feature in both hands in the keys of D minor and G major, the piece encourages players to strengthen their intricate technical playing, whilst taking them through a narrative of mood changes. Grade 5-6 level.

'Footsteps' mimics the timbres and textures of the real thing - starting with the heavy strides of a beast, it moves through a variety of footfall styles, all interlinked by a mesmerising Oriental sounding melody. Grade 5-6 level.
